The genre of music I will focus my planning and research on for my local music magazine is Indie Rock.

-Real bands that may be suitable to refer to: Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Wombats, Kasabian, Radiohead, Keiser chiefs, The Hoosiers, Primal Scream, etc.

-Types of products advertised: Shoes, Mobile phones, Music stores, Adverts for the magazine you're reading, Smoking accessories, gigs, etc.

-How I imagine my target audience: Teenagers from ages 16-30 who wear indie clothing and various accessories.
