To plan and make an audio presentation as a way of pitching our magazine in a proffesional an detailed manner in order to appeal to a publisher.

1. When public speaking, what is it important to remember to do?
  • To keep a clear head by not getting distracted.
  • To remember what you are talking about.
  • Try not to go off topic what talking about a subject.
  • Try not to get distracted.
  • Speak with confidence.
  • No hesitation.

2.If a publisher was listening to your pitch, what would they want to know about your project?
  • How much the magazine costs to make.
  • How often the magazine will come out.
  • How I will try to appeal to a wide array of readers.
  • What the profit of the magazine will be.
  • Show that you are personally passionate about the magazine.

  1. Well done in this submission of your audio presentation. I will now (as I have with the rest of the class) ask you some questions about your project which I will expect you to answer in as much detail as possible under this comment so it is visable. You will be assessed on how you respond in the best way you can. Please provide at least 1 paragraph.

If you had the chance to interview a real life music star for this magazine, who would you choose and why?

    1. I would choose "The Arctic Monkeys" because they are extremely popular and would be able to answer how they became so popular and why they became a band.

    2. What I would ask them:
-How did your band become famous and when did you start to notice that you were being noticed?
-Why do you love indie music so much?
-When did you decide you wanted to form a band?
